Since the silver film was applied, our conservatory is a whole lot better. We hardly notice that the film is there and the room is only slightly darker. The direct sunshine on the roof no longer makes us uncomfortable.

We have definitely noticed a difference. Our thermometer has been a lot lower since and we are really pleased with the quality of the installation!

I just wanted to say thank you to you and all your team for the recent window film installation you did for us in our conservatory. I must admit I was somewhat sceptical to see if the window film would work very well but I must admit it's fantastic. The change was almost instant and has reduced the temperature in the conservatory considerably. We had been getting temperatures well into the 40's and one day it actually topped 60C. Now we have the window film, temperatures now in the 20's to low 30's and we are now able to use the space much more comfortably. “The windows at the rear of our property are all south facing and as a consequence we found ourselves drawing the curtains during the day to keep the heat out and stop fading. We were in the process of considering installing air-conditioning when we got a leaflet from WF Glazing Protection advertising window films, through our letterbox. Our house is completely south facing and is like an oven most of the time. With my son’s A-Levels coming up he was about to spend a lot more time in his room, any distraction to his studies could be catastrophic. We contacted Dave and he advised us that the SolarGard Sterling40 was the way to go. It was fitted with a minimum of fuss with super friendly fitters. I don’t mind saying that I was skeptical of the effect it would have but I was willing to give it a go. How wrong I was to doubt it and what a difference it has made. If you look at the photo you can see the before and after difference and it has made my son’s room bearable even in the harshest of temperatures. Great product!

Having installed a double glazed lantern roof to our new kitchen extension we found that although we loved the extra light, at certain times of the day the glare could be unbearable when cooking or dining and was ruining our whole experience of being in the new kitchen. I had used solar control window film at work many years ago so thought it might be a possible solution for us. Having looked online for a professional, local company we contacted WF Glazing Protection and Dave came to see us. He provided expert advice as he talked us through the various film types, coatings, performances, manufacturers and warranties. In the end we settled on a 35 grade film as a good compromise between performance and light transmission. At first we were concerned it would look too dark but this hasn’t been the case. The kitchen feels just as light and spacious but without the annoying glare and the film gives the sky a lovely blue colour when you look up. Dave also advised us to have 3M Prestige70 External clear solar film fitted to the south facing patio doors. This film reduces the sun’s heat without changing the appearance of the glass. It was a great decision as it has finished the job off nicely. The sunshine this May has been a good test and the film has passed with flying colours. The kitchen is so much more comfortable and we can really enjoy it at all times of the day. Thank you to Dave and his installation team who did a very neat and tidy job.
